Nader Moftizadeh

Kurdish born and based in Los Angeles, California, Nader Moftizadeh is an internationally renowned musician and master of Persian and Kurdish classical music. As a child prodigy Nader displayed a high level of natural musical ability and began formal training at the age of 4. He has been teaching and performing as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist for over 45 years.

Nader Moftizadeh has performed in solo and ensemble concerts throughout Europe, North America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. As a teacher, Nader provides master-level training in: Tar, Setar, Santur, Daf, Tombak, Saz, Kamancheh, and Awaz (vocals). His students are often advanced and professional musicians in their own right.

Currently, Nader is seeking to continue to expand his teaching internationally to dedicated musicians of all skill levels, from basic to advanced.
